Project car stash posted on Craigslist.org
What are you doing on January 18? If you’ve got a little cash in your pocket and room in the garage, you might be wise to head to Farmville, Va., to check out a supposed Chevrolet and Mopar stash.
On that day from 9-4, a seller is offering several desirable pieces of iron in a one-day sale, according to an ad posted on the website. There are models, a and 1970 GTX, a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner, a 1968 and a 1969 Chevelle and Tri-Five 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevrolet models listed in the ad. From the posted pictures and prices, it appears all the cars need work, and not surprisingly, the indoor-stored cars look like projects while the outdoors-stored cars may be better suited to parts. However, you’ll have to see them in person and judge for yourself.
Before you buy a plane ticket or fill up the tank on your rig, and contact the seller: craigslist.org is often subjected to scammers. If it all checks out, be sure to get there early. The prices appear to be reasonable and so the vehicles will probably go as fast as a 440 Six Pack.
Enjoy “weathered wheels” from your easy chair in “” & “.”
